Hello all,
There where ones 2 mices, they fall in a bucket of cream, and one mice just gave up and was drowing straight away, the second mice was working very hard not to drown and kept swimming, and he did this so much that the bucket of cream turned into butter and he could crawl out of the bucket.
And I am that 2nd mice, and I love surfing ;) why do I start with this story? I think that story tells us something about life, in life we have many challanges ahead and I think if we keep focussed on what we want and we work very hard for it, then our dreams will turn into reality. Todays blog is just a little bit of this and a little bit of that, just my thoughts and I hope you enjoy reading them again.
Already 3 years I am in Sydney, and still it doesnt feel that way, the city is very nice and I am loving it.
I can say I am a real Sydneysider and I love my city. Sure there are many other places on the world, and a few places that I call my favorites are: Groningen, Budapest, Diever, Szekesfehervar, LA, SF, Kuala Lumpur, Beverly Hills, Dublin, Becs (Vienna) , Krakow and London.
Here comes the Sun from The Beatles :) Just love this song :)

Ofcourse there are many more places, but those places have a special meaning for me personally.
Travelling is a great thing to do, you will see the world is not boring at all, the world is even not that big as you always thought it would be. (It is still expensive to travel around, lol) But with all our transport systems, the world is small, with internet we made it even smaller.
I am living already since 2005 outside of The Kingdom of the Netherlands and I am still enjoying it, does my family think the same? not really, they would like to keep the whole family together, and who can blaim them. But because of internet I think Australia and Holland are suddenly not that far, it seems when I talk to Mum or Dad or to my sister or my brother, that I can just walk outside the house and meet them. So ofcourse there are some limitations, but for me personally that is no problem, as long I can be in contact with them regulary every now and then.
But I do LOVE my family big time, and they are the most important thing on this World.
Soon my brother will be marrying and we will have a great party and I am very proud of what he is doing in his life, a real example, the same counts for my sister and her family.
And my Parents, what can I say, I think we children never can repay the LOVE and CARE and just everything your parents every done for you. We only can Love them and always be there for them.
And I thank my parents for the great years they gave me and my brother and sister in our younger years when we where growing up inthe amazing 80's and then the 90's. Because of my family I am who I am, and how amazing is it, that you can fly out of your parents home, spread your wings and not be affraid of the world, of the things around you. Just feel free and explorer, and learn, every day you can learn so much from the world, from the people around you.
I am so happy with everything I have done till this day, and I know I will do even more greater things in the future. Life keeps changing and it will throw many things at ones to all of us. If it is work, personal or things to people we love or care about.
Nothing will ever be easy, but as long you have a goal and idea about your future, you can reach it.
You smile every morning, because a smile brightens up your day.
We cannot control all things in life, some we just need to accept and make the best of it.
I am sure in the future I will have an apartment or house somewhere in Sydney or in one of the suburbs and you are always welcome to visit me.
Yesterday I saw the movie American Pie the Reunion and I think that movie shows what life is all about, we all enjoy every single stage of life. I have friends who wonder is this all, omg I am bored,
every day I come home I am alone and so boring, other friends have families, they happy with their families but sometimes they might think, omg so nice if you are single you can do what you want and nobody to tell you not to do things. I think there is a nice sentance for this: The grass is always greener at the other side.
I think you just should always be happy and then things will come your way in one way or in another way.
But I invite all of you to visit Sydney! because it is amazing, we have beaches, we have many nice international food places, we have mixed culture, we have day and night life, we many nice parks, botanical garden, Harbour Bridge, Opera house, Darling harbour, China town, Snowy Mountains.....
and the list keeps growing.
And I still call Australia Home :)
